Skiddaw - New Kit

Skiddaw from Westmorland is a lovely, traditional inspired Fairisle slipover design for men using 10 British Breeds colours. 

It is knitted flat in pieces from the bottom up.

However, like most of Marie’s designs it can be knitted in the round with the introduction of 5, 7 or 9 steek stitches where the side seams, centre front and armholes would be.

Please note that the pattern does not include instructions for knitting Skiddaw in the round.

 This design is available in 3 sizes of kits – XS, S & M, L, XL & XXL and 2XL & 3XL and each kit contains enough yarn to knit the biggest size of the sizes. The XS, S & M kit includes 22 x 25g balls of Marie Wallin British Breeds yarn, the L, XL & XXL kit includes 24 x 25g balls and the 2XL & 3XL kit includes 25 x 25g balls. Each kit also includes the detailed high quality printed pattern for Blencathra - all presented in a lovely Marie Wallin calico garment kit bag.

 Included in the price of the kit is a downloadable PDF version of the pattern, so that you can enlarge the charts without having to spoil the printed pattern. The download link is sent by email once your order has been shipped.

X Small: chest 50.5 (20), length 62 (24.5).

Small: chest 53 (20.75), length 64 (25.25).

 Medium: chest 55.5 (21.75), length 66 (26).

 Large: chest 58 (22.75), length 68 (26.75).

 XL: chest 60.5 (23.75), length 68 (26.75).

 XXL: chest 63 (24.75), length 70 (27.5).

 2XL: chest 66 (26), length 70 (27.5).
