Come and join Marie at the beautiful Brooksby Hall in Leicestershire to start to make this stunning Fairisle tam from the new GENTLE collection, which launches on the 1st December. The tam is a great way to practise your Fairisle technique before knitting your first Fairisle sweater. Knitted entirely in the round, this tam is also perfect for knitters who are new to Fairisle knitting.

WHAT YOU WILL MAKE You will start to make the beautiful Mistletoe Tam using Marie Wallin's BRITISH BREEDS yarn.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN How to knit Fairisle in the round, we will also show you some tips to help you with your stranded knitting and show you the technique of picking up the stitches whilst knitting in a different direction.
SKILL LEVEL Suitable for knitters of all abilities, including those who wish to learn Fairisle knitting.
WHAT IS INCLUDED The pattern, chart and the yarn to complete the tam (11 x 25g balls). A lunch made from locally sourced produce, lots of tea & coffee, fruit juice, biscuits and afternoon cake.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING 2.75mm & 3.25mm needles - circular needles - 40cm fixed or 4 x double pointed needles.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE THE TAM You will have everything to finish the tam.
