Sat 30th September & Sun 1st October 2023
The project is the GRANNY SQUARES COWL, which is a new design, not available anywhere else. This lovely cowl is made up from different sizes of traditional Granny squares together with Bobble Wheel squares, these are then joined together using treble stitches. It is a lot easier to make than it looks and is achievable by the beginner crocheter. Marie and her assistant, Gwynneth, will show you all crochet stitches needed to make the crochet cowl with confidence.
The price includes the printed pattern and 17 balls of British Breeds yarn, presented in a lovely kit project bag. A delicious buffet lunch made from locally sourced produce, lots of tea and coffee, fruit juices, biscuits, and afternoon homemade cakes are also included as well. There will also be opportunities to look at the various exhibitions at the mill and to see some of the resident artisans at work. On display at the workshop will be the garments from Cumbria and Westmorland and opportunities to buy kits and books.
There is enough yarn in the kit to make at least two cowls!
You will need to bring the following:
1 x 2.5mm crochet hook.
There will be a maximum of 16 people at the weekend workshop and it will start at 10am on each day and finish at 4pm. We will start promptly, so please arrive by 9.45am on each day.
As the workshops are held in the UK, all customers will be charged UK VAT.
The price shown at checkout includes VAT at 20%.
